I find what Nick says in panel 3 a little unsettling. It seems to imply that transformation devices would be commonplace in this universe, which they're not. (In fact, I'm not planning to have any appear in canon thus far. You'll find out what DEVICE was doing in the next two strips, so I don't feel guilty telling you this. Maybe I just feel that way because I already drew them.)
